NUVIA UK is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award 2026, recognising our commitment to supporting members of the Armed Forces community.
The Silver Award, part of the Armed Forces Covenant’s Employer Recognition Scheme, acknowledges organisations that demonstrate outstanding support for reservists, veterans, cadet force adult volunteers, and military families.
Achieving Silver status reflects the action we are taking to:
- Support employees who serve as Reservists
- Provide a fair, flexible and inclusive working environment for the Armed Forces community
- Recognise and champion the valuable skills and experience service personnel bring to our business
Launching the NUVIA Veterans Community
A significant milestone in our journey has been the launch of the NUVIA Veterans Community (NVC), a network created to connect, support and advocate for veterans, reservists, military family members and allies across the business.
The NVC provides a platform for peer support, professional development and shared experiences, while helping colleagues better understand the transferable skills gained through military service. It also plays an important role in supporting recruitment, retention and career development, while strengthening NUVIA’s commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.
Since its launch, the community has built a growing network of members and supporters, increased awareness of the value veterans bring to the workplace, and established itself as a trusted point of contact for Armed Forces personnel across the organisation.
Why It Matters
Supporting the Armed Forces community is not only the right thing to do it also strengthens our business. Veterans and reservists bring leadership, resilience, teamwork and problem-solving skills that are invaluable in delivering successful outcomes for our clients and projects.
Looking Ahead
The NVC will continue to develop through mentoring opportunities, guest speakers, shared learning and closer collaboration with internal and external partners. These initiatives will help strengthen engagement, support career development and contribute to NUVIA’s ambition of progressing towards ERS Gold status.
