Technical Meeting on the Use of Uncrewed Aerial Systems for Radiation Detection and Surveillance

Drones-G at an event organised by the International Atomic Energy Agency

NUVIA actively participated in a Technical Meeting on the Use of Uncrewed Aerial Systems for Radiation Detection and Surveillance in autumn. The event was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in cooperation with the State Institute of Radiation Protection, v. v. i., in Brno and was a unique opportunity for vendors of uncrewed aerial systems to meet with representatives of IAEA Member States who are responsible for the design, acquisition and use of these systems for nuclear protection and safety applications.

NUVIA participated in the event with the DRONES-G system from the NUVIATech Instruments product line. The DRONES-G module, a technology for lightt aerial monitoring using drones or unmanned aerial vehicles as carriers, offers excellent performance for environmental radiation inspection and emergency monitoring. It is designed for effective surveys of smaller areas to search for potential contamination, uncontrolled radioactive sources or for working in spots with hazardous dose level.

The wide range of capabilities and flexibility of use are the main advantages for DRONES-G radiation monitoring applications.
