NUVIA joined London Climate Action Week to exchange ideas on sustainability and the environmental challenges shaping the future.
Last week, during London Climate Action Week, NUVIA had the pleasure of attending a dinner sponsored by VINCI bringing together representatives from some of its companies to share insights, experiences, and progress on one of our most important priorities: the environment.
The evening featured contributions from speakers including Isabelle Spiegel, John Gummer, Rt Hon The Lord Deben, Scott Wardrop, Leslie Abrahams and Marvin Danvers, bringing both internal and external perspectives on climate leadership.
A few key themes stood out:
- Clear climate targets guiding our actions to deliver more sustainable outcomes
- The balance between innovation, safety and environmental performance
- The role of circular economy principles
- Sustainability as a forward-looking responsibility building today with the future in mind
- The need to use resources more efficiently, with greater awareness and accountability
- Empowering people with clear language and ownership to turn ambition into action
The role of advanced technologies, including fusion, in supporting the transition to clean and net zero energy
The discussions reflected a shared ambition: to make sustainability real in our businesses ensuring what we do today enables the world of tomorrow.
A valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives and reinforce the role we all play in delivering a more sustainable future.
