Fire resistant seals for 3000 openings

NUVIA is implementing fire barrier seals in openings in compliance with the highest standards at the new EPR in Flamanville. The main challenge of the project is to carry out works on-time, safely and in accordance with the specifications and qualifications. NUVIA Structure and NUVIA Protection created a joint venture to carry out the project.

Scope

One year was necessary for studies: requirements, analysis and definition of solutions
Product qualifications: tests performed in NUVIA’s fire rated Lab (Pierrelatte, France). Total duration: 9 months
On-site works: sealing of 3000 openings in less than 18 months
