Une nouvelle technique durable, \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt et \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone pour l’encapsulation des d\u00e9chets de moyenne activit\u00e9<\/h3><\/div>

Il y a quelques semaines, NUVIA et Lucideon ont organis\u00e9 une manifestation r\u00e9ussie pour pr\u00e9senter une nouvelle technique d’avant-garde, con\u00e7ue pour transformer le processus d’\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets nucl\u00e9aires \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle mondiale.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 un certain nombre de d\u00e9fis pos\u00e9s par l’industrie nucl\u00e9aire en mati\u00e8re d’\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets, le syst\u00e8me offre une m\u00e9thode rentable de gestion des flux de d\u00e9chets de niveau interm\u00e9diaire (DLI), y compris les huiles, le graphite, les z\u00e9olithes, les boues et les cendres.<\/p>\n

Ensemble, NUVIA et Lucideon ont mis au point une solution pour les d\u00e9chets appel\u00e9e MALLET (MIDAR\u2122-Augmented Low-cost Low-carbon Encapsulation Technique).<\/p>\n

MALLET a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 plusieurs probl\u00e8mes d’\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets de l’industrie nucl\u00e9aire, en cherchant \u00e0 fournir une solution s\u00fbre et \u00e0 forte charge de d\u00e9chets pour les huiles, les boues, les r\u00e9sines \u00e9changeuses d’ions et le graphite.<\/p>\n

Richard Goodhead, directeur marketing de Lucideon, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0MALLET repr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9veloppement significatif pour la gestion des d\u00e9chets nucl\u00e9aires.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il offre des avantages substantiels par rapport aux techniques traditionnelles d’\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets de moyenne activit\u00e9, telles que le ciment Portland, notamment une r\u00e9duction significative des \u00e9missions de carbone et des volumes de d\u00e9chets, ainsi qu’une r\u00e9duction consid\u00e9rable des co\u00fbts de traitement et d’\u00e9limination.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Cette technologie est \u00e9galement conforme aux crit\u00e8res d’acceptation des d\u00e9chets (WAC) et est chimiquement stable.<\/p>\n

MALLET peut acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la r\u00e9duction des risques et des dangers en offrant une solution de traitement des d\u00e9chets jug\u00e9s probl\u00e9matiques et en r\u00e9duisant consid\u00e9rablement le co\u00fbt de l’\u00e9limination et du traitement des d\u00e9chets de plusieurs centaines de millions de livres par rapport aux m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles d’injection de coulis.<\/p>\n

Ayant travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration avec Lucideon sur ce projet au cours des trois derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, je suis ravi que la collaboration entre nos organisations n’ait pas
